Cliff Robertson-

http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00043587.html

Played JFK in "PT-109", went on to win an Oscar for "Charly".  Later on played Peter Parker's uncle in the "Spiderman" movies.

My favorite of his films was "Devil's Brigade".

Al Davis - owner of the Oakland Raiders, or was that the LA Raiders. No I guess they play in Oakland right now. 82 yrs old.

Not that I'm an Oakland Raiders fan (as one who was born and raised in Denver, CO, I hate the Raiders), but maybe now the Raiders can keep a football coach more than 2 years, or is that half a season.

Paul Leka, the guy who wrote "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)".

They gave recognition to Chicago White Sox organist Nancy Faust for being the first to play this at a game.  Smiley

Oh no, I have loved all her Pern dragon books - I think I have read 100 of them. Okay, maybe only 35. How many of them are there?  Sad day in the dragon world. I think even Lorana felt it. Fortunately Anne's son Todd has picked up where she left off.

Crazy North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il died a few days ago. North Koreans were surprised to see that the sun continues to rise in the morning.

Don't know how this will affect the remake of Red Dawn due out next year in which North Korea invades a small American town.
