I feel it's going to be declared another "accidental overdose of prescription medication", leaving everyone wondering if it was really a suicide or intentional misuse of a prescribed medication. There have been several of these in the entertainment world in the past few years.

This makes me oh so sad!  I grew up with the Monkees.  My older sister loved them more than the Beatles, and she bought all their albums and watched their show.  I got hooked on them because of her.

Me too.  I used to watch that show religiously when I was in grade-school.  I think it might have been in re-runs at that point.  Sad

The hosts of Soul Train and American Bandstand both die within two months of each other, yet that jerk Deney Terrio who hosted Dance Fever is still alive.  Angry

Jonathan Frid, the original Barnabas Collins in the TV series "Dark Shadows".

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2018023986_apcncanadaobitfrid....

They mentioned how kids ran home from school to watch the show.  I was definitely one!

Glad they had him in the movie.  Too bad he didn't live to see it in theaters.

Beastie Boy Adam Yauch (also known as MCA) died at only 47.

He was the obnoxious abrasive one when the band became hugely popular, then became a Buddhist and an activist.
