Thanks for posting!

    Sounders Women Starting Lineup

    1   Hope Solo            GK
    22  Victoria Frederick   D
    4   Kate Deines          D
    23  Kelli Smith          D
    14  Stephanie Cox        D
    17  Veronica Perez       MF
    11  Keelin Winters       MF
    15  Megan Rapinoe        MF
    22  Sophie Reiser        F
    2   Sydney Leroux        F
    13  Alex Morgan          F

Damn. That is one sick lineup.

I have mixed feelings about watching someone score against Hope Solo, but it was nice to see the Huskies hold their own (or at least they seemed to based on the highlights). Just a perfect ball by Elston, and a perfect one-touch by Zevenbergen into the corner. Hope went to cover her right post, probably expecting at least one dribble, and Zevenbergen caught her leaning the wrong way.

Rapinoe just knows how to put the ball in the box and make something happen. Morgan also deserves a lot of credit for their third goal.

I need to get out to some of the Sounders Women's games. I'd love to take my "little sister" to some. It's just too bad that their two weekend home games conflict with Storm games.

actually, bcdawg, it looks like 1 weekend game wouldn't conflict directly with a Storm game....

On Sun. June 24 there is a 1 p.m. game down in Tukwila --

and a Storm game the same day, but not till 4 p.m.....

looks doable to me!

The other weekend (Sun. June 17) game is much more of a conflict -- down in Tukwila at 4 p.m., then up to the Key at 6 p.m. -- you either leave early or arrive late....

but the 24th looks good!
