Anyone want to talk about what might happen during this game?

No? All right. Enjoy your weekend. Well, Saturday anyway.

This is one I actually want to watch because we actually might win. If there is a must win game this early in the season this is one. I still believe five wins before the break gives us areally good shot at the playoffs since LJ will be back and the schedule is a lot easier then and fifteen wins should be good for fourth place.

If the Storm can't beat Tulsa at the BOK Center then I don't think there's much chance of them winning any games on the road until after the Olympics.

Not the worst first quarter, but you can't help feel that we should be 10 up by now, not 3.

Is it just me or does Wauters seem to play really soft. I can't believe that on one play she had a clear path to the hole and checked up.

Sue loves to play against Tulsa. Brings the Die *****es out in here Grin

She was 9 of 9 from the field for 21 pts Shocked Shocked she also has 6 rebounds and 4 assists (0 TO's)

72-61 Storm after the 3rd quarter. Both teams are shooting lights out from behind the arc!

A solid win and some promising play, let's hope we can capitalise on it Sunday.

I'm super excited we won, but a few things stand out at me. Camille had 1 field goal attempt!? 1! Wauters only 5 and Kobryn 2! We need to be getting them more shots, especially in the post.
Hopefully if we can improve this we will get even more wins.

Yeah Camille got fouled 2-3 times by Tameka Johnson while going up so she got FT's. But yes she was invicible pretty much. Wauters didnt get the ball enough but was posting up a lot. Only saw 1 highlow action when she was posting up they passed it to TT and she passed a lob to Wauters who finished it. There were many more opportunities to do that but they were just not doing it.

They rellied heavily on 3pointshooting again. They really need use Wauters/Little on offense against the Lynx sunday because else with will be a blowout again. And we need another Die *****es game from Sue like this one. Sue pls think that the Lynx are Tulsa sunday Tongue

Good win (that's really all we can hope for at this point), and good to see some of those outside shots finding the range.  Next step is to beat a team a) that isn't winless and b) without the need to get hot from 3.  That said, TT has been AMAZING from behind the arc so far; she's definitely met expectations, I'd say. Smiley

Also, am I the only one here who LOVES Glory Johnson's game?

Yeah, and more rebounding please!  Especially against Minny!  IIRC, the team sucked so badly in this department the last time we played them.  Although they did show some improvement in this in the recent game against Tulsa, we'll see if it continues...crossing my fingers...and if I can I''ll try with my toes too for good measure Wink
